What is the Mobility Plan?
- NCTD is currently conducting a comprehensive study of its transit service operations and business model.
- This study is referred to as the NCTD Mobility Plan.
- This plan will help NCTD maximize ridership from available resources and funding.
- The Mobility Plan will include 3 key phases:
- Community Assessment - A review of NCTD services in North County that identifies travel patterns and transit needs.
- Service Evaluation - A review of existing NCTD service performances,
checking each route for meeting current market needs and cost effectiveness. - Public Participation - NCTD stakeholders are being encouraged to participate in the study, so we develop a service plan that is successful in the future.
